Na Landigo se dnes zaměříme na porovnávání členů u slovíček v jednotném a množném čísle a také u nepočitatelných slovíček.

Určitý a neurčitý člen – procvičování:

Jednotné číslo:

Pokud je podstatné jméno počitatelné a v jednotném čísle (car, tree, banana...), můžeme použít THE i A/AN:

S počitatelným podstatným jménem v jednotném čísle musíme obvykle nějaký člen použít:

Ben has a great car. He bought the car last year.
Ben má skvělé auto. Koupil si ho loni.

Nikoliv: Ben has great car. He bought car...

Namísto A/AN používáme před množným číslem (cars, trees, boys...) a před nepočitatelným (money, water, air...) SOME:

Když mluvíme o něčem obecně, slovíčka v množném čísle a nepočitatelná používáme bez členu a bez SOME:

Cars can make life much easier.
 Auta mohou život výrazně usnadnit.

Před některými slovíčky se členy nepoužívají. Jedná se zejména o:
