Hromadné podstatné jméno v jednotném čísle (a group, a herd, a bunch...) + OF + další podst. jméno v množném čísle používáme obvykle se slovesem v jednotném čísle:

 Skupina politiků vytvořila novou stranu.
A large herd of horses was vaccinated yesterday.
Včera bylo očkováno velké stádo koní.

Všimněte si z překladů, že stejně používáme jednotné číslo slovesa také v češtině.
